When Torrence designs a Pro Sound system, we consider the following factors:

Reliability
We want our Pro Sound systems to work for years with minimal maintenance. We account for variables such as temperature changes, electrical disturbances and ambient conditions such as smoke, humidity, etc.

Flexibility
Our systems are designed to handle many different functions and needs, both current and anticipated. In addition, we suggest the proper number of features for a given system; not so few as to limit the system’s capabilities, but not so many as to confuse the system’s operators.

System Redundancy
Wherever possible, we design redundancy into our pro audio installations, so that, in the event of a minor malfunction of a single component, the remainder of the system will continue uninterrupted operation.

Security
Whenever necessary, we will design and build a Pro Sound system with locking cabinetry, access codes or other devices in order to restrict access to the main control functions.

Ease of Use
We consider a large number of practical things when designing a system. For instance, we will not place an arena’s master volume controls in an electrical closet in the back of a locker room. All functions necessary for efficient operation and maintenance are easily accessible. In addition, we provide complete documentation, manuals and other paperwork necessary for a smooth hand-over and the system’s ongoing operation.
